NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Tomas Klempa scored the clinching goal in a shootout, and the Fort Worth Brahmas picked up the extra point in a 4-3 (2-1 SO) win over the Arizona Sundogs.
The two teams needed nine turns to complete the shootout. Arizona got a shootout goal from Jason Morgan. Fort Worth also got a shootout goal from Brendon Hodge.The Brahmas came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Fort Worth fell behind 3-1 after a power play goal by the Sundogs’ Morgan at 14:30 in the second period. The Brahmas knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Eric Satim at 8:16 in the third period.Calin Wild was all over the ice for Fort Worth, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Wild scored 19 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-2 Arizona. Austin Mayer assisted on the tally.The Brahmas’ offense was clicking better than usual and put 26 shots on goal during the game, better than the 18.6 shots per game they average.Fort Worth also got a goal from Adam Hogg as well.Have more to add?
