One person was injured in a North Richland Hills fire Thursday morning that also destroyed the house, a fire official said.
The victim, a resident of the home who wasn't identified,was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. The condition of the victim was unavailable.The fire was reported at 6:30 a.m. Thursday in the 7000 block of Windhaven Road in North Richland Hills."It was fully involved when firefighters arrived," said North Richland Hills battalion fire chief James Brown on Thursday.It took firefighters more than 30 minutes to extinguish the flames at the single-story home.No other injuries were reported.Fire investigators were at the scene Thursday morning to try to determine a cause of the blaze.Domingo Ramirez Jr., 817-390-7763Twitter: @mingoramirezjrHave more to add?
