Cheers: To the young woman in Azle who, while sitting at a light on Feb. 23, hopped out of her car to help a confused pedestrian cross the busy street. What a beautiful act of humanity.

-- John Chapman, Azle

Cheers: To the staff of medical floor 52 at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital for making my stay comfortable. I was put at ease in this scary situation with the compassion from this nursing staff and respiratory department. Thanks to Barbara Irwin, Patti, Loni, Katie, Langston, Mona, Susie, Barbara and Rhonda.

-- Tara Mastrianni, Fort Worth

Jeers: To those people who, during the Black Watch and Band of the Scots Guards concert at Bass Hall, committed intellectual theft and annoyed other patrons with persistent recording of the show on their camera-phones. This, after being admonished by ushers several times to stop.

-- Joe and Hannah Klein, Fort Worth
