The Texas Wild of the World TeamTennis League will make its Irving debut on July 10 against Venus Williams and the defending champion Washington Kastles.

The Wild schedule, released Wednesday, features seven home matches, including a four-match homestand at the Four Seasons Resort & Club at Las Colinas between the home opener and July 14.

“I’m extremely pleased with the marquee player talent we are able to deliver in four of our seven home matches to Texas Wild fans in our inaugural season in the Metroplex,” owner and general manager Jeff Launius said in a statement. “This is one of the strongest home-match schedules I’ve seen in all of my years in the league. From purely a fan perspective, this is going to be a fantastic season.”

The Wild will open the season on the road against the Sacramento Capitals on July 7 and the Orange County Breakers on July 8.

After the Wednesday night home opener, the Wild plays host to the Breakers on July 11, the Boston Lobsters led by Mark Philippoussis on July 13 and the Capitals on July 14.

After a three-day road trip to Springfield, Mo., Orange County, Calif., and Sacramento, the Wild returns home for a second match against the Kastles on July 19. The No. 1-ranked doubles team of Mike and Bob Bryan makes its Irving debut for the Wild on July 20.

The July 20 match will be the only scheduled home appearance for the Bryan brothers. The pair is scheduled to play road matches for Texas at Orange County, Sacramento and Philadelphia.

The Wild will close the regular season with an East Coast swing through Philadelphia and New York before wrapping up at home on July 24 against Sam Querrey and the Capitals.

The WTT playoffs begin July 25 with the conference championships. The finals are scheduled for July 28 at the home court of the Eastern Conference champions.

Season tickets will go on sale March 14 and include the seven home matches plus an option to buy playoff tickets if the team qualifies. Season tickets are $280 per seat for general admission, $2,500 for a four-seat box and $5,500 for four-seat table in the Owner’s Club.
