Man shot at Haltom City residence, police say

A man who had gotten into an argument at a Fort Worth bar was shot in the mouth Wednesday at his Haltom City home after someone apparently followed him from the club, police said.

No one has been arrested.

Haltom City police responded to a shooting call at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Betty Lane in Haltom City.

Responding officers were told that a man had been shot, but he had been taken to a Fort Worth hospital by private vehicle. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.

Haltom City police did not release any other details on the shooting.
