Sunday’s overtime loss to Quad City dropped the Brahmas into a tie for second place in the Central Hockey League with Wednesday’s opponent, Wichita.

The Brahmas are in need of some offense after having been outscored 10-4 in their last four games — going 1-2-1 as a result.

Wichita has gone 2-1-1 in its last four games, but the Thunder has scored 16 goals and allowed 14. Wihcita is the second in the CHL in goals, with 197. The Brahmas’ 165 goals is seventh.

The Brahmas are 2-4-1 against Wichita, but the teams haven’t faced each other since a 4-2 Brahmas win on Dec. 31.

Tonight begins a five-game homestand for the Brahmas, including March 15-16 games at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The Brahmas finish the regular season with four games on the road.
