Stephen F. Austin University

The following residents of Mansfield have been named to Stephen F. Austin University’s fall President’s List: Brett Fleming-Wood, Emily Grogan, Lauren Guinn, Alexander Nelson, Bethany Richards and Alexa Saffle. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled in 12 or more semester hours and maintain a grade-point average of 4.0.

Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi

Two College of Education students from Mansfield have been named to the Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi Dean’s List for the 2012 fall semester: Brent Hendrix and Courtney Metz. To qualify, undergraduates must be enrolled full time with a minimum of 12 semester hours and must earn a grade-point average of 3.65 or better on a 4.0 scale.

Ouachita Baptist University

Tristan Wooster was one of 261 students at Ouachita Baptist University named to the President’s List for the fall 2012 semester. To be named to the President’s List, a student must compile a 4.0 grade-point average and be classified as a full-time student.

Texas State University

The following residents of Mansfield were among the degree candidates at the 2012 fall commencement ceremonies at Texas State University: Clara Moreno, Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in photography; Deborah Tingey, Bachelor of Science with a major in biology; Danielle Halle, Bachelor of Science with a major in geography resource and environmental studies, Summa Cum Laude.

The following students have been named to the fall 2012 Dean’s List at Texas State University: Christopher P. Cesario, Payton S. Cox, Shelly M. Dorsey, Heather Elise Neal, Karli Lynn Owens, Shelby N. Pickett, Rebecca M. Silvas, Kayla B. Smith, Clancy Annette Taylor, Anthony M. Van Buskirk and Shaylee M. Walsh. To be named to the Dean’s List at Texas State, a student must earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 while carrying at least 12 semester hours.

East Texas Baptist University

Elizabeth May of Mansfield has been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the Dean’s List. To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have a 3.25 to 3.49 grade-point average.
