Springtown man killed in motorcycle wreck

A Springtown man died Sunday from injuries he received in a motorcycle wreck, according to a report.

Matthes Sherwood, 30, died shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday in the emergency room of the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Azle, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office.

It was unclear Monday where and when the wreck happened because police in Springtown could not be reached for comment.
