Arlington man dies in accident on Fort Worth street

An Arlington man was killed early Sunday in a wreck on a Fort Worth street after his vehicle left the road and hit a tree, police said.

The Tarrant County medical examiner's office identified the victim as Erik Mancilla, 22. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 8200 block of Randol Mill Road.

Mancilla was driving a sports utility vehicle when he lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and hit the tree, police said.

Police did not provide any other details.
