The UT Arlington women’s basketball team will play its final road game of the season Saturday against Utah State, one of the hottest teams in the Western Athletic Conference.
The Aggies have won nine of their last 10 games, five of them by double digits. Their lone loss during that stretch was a 106-94 defeat against New Mexico State.On Thursday, the Aggies beat Louisiana Tech 70-56 and had four players score in double figures, something they have done in three of their past four games.The Aggies lead the WAC in scoring offense at 76.7 points a game.The Mavericks are coming off a 71-49 loss to San Jose State on Thursday in a game they shot just 29 percent from the floor.The Aggies won this season’s first meeting 93-83, but the Mavericks still had five players score in double figures.More information
