FORT WORTH -- James R. Harris Partners, a group of real estate investors, has bought 215 and 219 S. Main St. in Fort Worth and is in the process of finding new tenants for the 1926 building.

The property is a three-story structure connected to a one-story structure with 12,970 square feet of space.

It was sold by SkyWalker Property Partners in Arlington, which bought the property in 2005 and spent $350,000 on renovations. Until late last year, the building was a regional office for Illinois-based Greenlee Textron, which has relocated.

The three-story structure originally housed a cafe on the ground floor and a boardinghouse on the upper levels. It was once the longtime office of the Region & Wilson Advertising & Public Relations firm.

"This is something that came up and we bought it," said Jim Harris. "Unlike a lot of old buildings, it has plenty of parking."

The deal closed Dec. 30. It was acquired by the Harris group under the entity 1915 South Main Llc. The property has two parking areas with 47 spaces.

"We had significant interest by both users and investors," said Theron Bryant, principal of SCM Real Estate Services. "The South Main Street corridor has a lot of redevelopment activity underway."

CBRE's Blake Lloyd represented the buyer.
