FORT WORTH -- A motorist who suffered serious injuries in a single-car wreck Tuesday night had derogatory words written on his body, but police don't believe the words had anything to do with the wreck.
The driver, who was not identified, was injured shortly after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 14300 block of Interstate 35W. He was taken to a local hospital; his condition was unavailable. As for the writing on the man's body, "You would not be able to put the words in print or say them on TV," said police Sgt. Kelly Peel in an email on Wednesday.Peel said there is no investigation under way related to the writing. But investigators plan to interview the motorist after he recovers to determine if a criminal investigation is warranted, Peel said Wednesday.Domingo Ramirez Jr., 817-390-7763Twitter: @mingoramirezjrHave more to add?
