NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Defenseman Jesse Perrin scored 11 seconds into overtime to give the Missouri Mavericks a 2-1 victory Friday night over the Fort Worth Brahmas at NYTEX Sports Centre.
The Brahmas took the early lead on an unassisted goal by Shawn Szydlowski midway through the first period, but Missouri came back to tie the game on Colt King’s goal with 13:47 left in the second period. Neither team was able to score in the third period.Brad Fogal made 27 saves in goal for the Brahmas.The Brahmas begin a three-game series at home at 7:30 tonight against the division-leading Allen Americans.
