About the Mavs: The Mavericks, who just completed a 4-1 homestand, will play their first game with Anthony Morrow, who was acquired Thursday in a trade with Atlanta for Dahntay Jones. In 24 games with the Hawks this season, Morrow averaged 5.2 points and one rebound in 12.5 minutes per game. He is shooting 42.3 percent from the field, including 39.5 percent from 3-point range. ... The Mavericks lost to New Orleans 99-96 in overtime Jan. 5 in Dallas.

About the Hornets: New Orleans is 9-16 at home, the fewest home victories among Western Conference teams. ...
