Sen. Ted Cruz alleges his attack on Chuck Hagel was based on "speaking the truth about someone's record." The truth is there is no evidence to support his innuendo-laden McCarthyisms.
His insinuation that Hagel received money form North Korea and Hamas, although prefaced with "We do not know," is abhorrent.
