SURPRISE, Ariz. — Josh Hamilton, the newest member of the Anaheim Angels, has created a stir by saying Dallas-Fort Worth isn't a "true baseball town."
In a TV interview with CBS 11's Gina Miller, Hamilton said: "Texas, especially Dallas, has always been a football town. They're supportive, but they also got a little spoiled at the same time pretty quickly."Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington didn't bite at a chance to react to Hamilton's comment, but said: "There were 3.5 million fans that came through the turnstiles.
