Drama tells story of missionary team
On Feb. 24, the drama ministry of Mansfield Bible Church will present Bridge of Blood, a reader’s theatre that tells the incredible true story of a missionary team including Jim Elliot that was killed by the Aucas while on a mission to bring them the gospel of Jesus Christ. The deaths of these five men galvanized the missionary efforts and many of the Aucas were converted, including some who were involved in the killings.Come hear about Elliot’s widow and the sister of one of the other missionaries demonstrating amazing forgiveness by being a part of the mission. This dramatic presentation will take place in the 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services. MBC is located at 2351 Country Club Drive in Mansfield.
