Let's take away all the platforms for politicians to vent their opinions and reasons why they can't get the people's work done. That's not news. The news media give entirely too much print and airtime to these nonperformers. Just report what they have done, and if they haven't done anything, ignore them.
Report what bills are introduced, what passes or doesn't, and how they voted until they have actually accomplished something. I guarantee you they will soon start doing their jobs.Surely the airwaves can find people who have done something for the country or mankind and are worth interviewing, such as scientists, educators, doctors, entrepreneurs and many others.-- Shirley McVay, ArlingtonHave more to add?
