Police arrested a man on suspicion of aggravated sexual assault and kidnapping Friday after a woman said she was abducted outside an Arlington business.

The woman said she was leaving the Wal-Mart store at 915 E. Randol Mill Road about 5 p.m. when "it is believed the suspect ran up to her and forced his way into her car," police spokeswoman Tiara Richard said in an email.

Around 2 a.m., officers found the victim in her vehicle outside a residence in the 1100 block of North Center Street, Richard said. Police arrested Jeff Fredrick Womack, 38, at the same location.

Womack was in the Arlington City Jail on Friday, Richard said. His bail was set at $400,670.

Detectives are still investigating the circumstances of the case but there is no indication the woman knew the suspect, Richard said.
