A man was shot twice in the back early Friday in east Fort Worth, police say.
Officers were dispatched shortly before 4 a.m. to the 1900 block of Oakland Boulevard, said officer Sharron Neal, a police spokeswoman.According to police records, someone called 911 to report that a female had been assaulted and a man was shot. The female required medical assistance, records show.Police have taken a woman into custody, Neal said.The gunshot victim was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition, Neal said.Have more to add?
