The Fort Worth Trimble Tech girls basketball team forfeited its bi-district victory over Crowley this morning after discovering that coaches inadvertently played an ineligible player, athletic director Kevin Greene said.
The player was ineligible under the no-pass no-play rule but officials did not realize it until Wednesday morning. Crowley, which lost 52-32, now advances to face Fort Worth Dunbar in the area round at time to be determined.
