Boy suffers serious injuries after crashing motorcycle into fence in northwest Fort Worth

A motorcycle wreck has resulted in life-threatening injuries to a boy late Tuesday afternoon in northwest Fort Worth, according to reports.

The wreck was reported at 4:35 p.m. in the 7000 block of Bowman Roberts Road, according to police and fire department reports.

An initial police report indicated that a 12-year-old boy may have crashed a motorcycle into a fence.

The boy was taken to Cook Children's Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, said Matt Zavadsky, MedStar spokesman.

No other information was immediately available at 6 p.m.
