Gov. Perry should be cautious about running ads in California radio markets urging businesses to "come check out Texas." What would California businesses bring with them?
Would people move from California to Texas and wonder why smoking is allowed outdoors? Would they complain about the smell from home fireplaces in the winter and seek to ban new fast-food restaurants? Would they demand increased minimum wages and the end of McDonald's happy meals?Would they push for a state income tax and seek to make Texas a forced union state? Would they push to require helmets on motorcycle riders and the removal of plastic bags from grocery stores? What about concealed carry and the Castle Law? What about oil and gas drilling?California's leaders were elected by the people whom their businesses employed. Gov. Perry, please be careful what you ask for.-- Chris Spencer,GodleyHave more to add?
