FORT WORTH — A 3-year-old boy was seriously hurt early Friday evening in what police believe was a hit-and-run wreck in east Fort Worth.
Officers responded at about 7 p.m. to the incident in the 6400 block of Meadowbrook Drive, according to reports.The boy, who was crossing the street, was hit by a blue car that did not stop, said Capt. Michael Baldwin, police spokesman. MedStar took the child to Cook Children’s Medical Center with what appeared to be a broken leg, a broken arm and a possible concussion, he said.The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, Baldwin said.Investigators will try to locate the blue car because the driver is facing a possible charge of felony hit and run, Baldwin said.Bill Miller, 817-390-7684, Twitter: @Bill_MillerST
