TCU finished third after the final round of the Amer Ari Invitational on Friday at the Waikoloa Kings' Club in Kona, Hawaii.

The No. 16-ranked Horned Frogs finished in front of five top-15 teams competing in the field.

The Frogs put together a solid finish with a 7-under-par 281 to finish at 15 under, seven strokes behind No. 7 UCLA and No. 6 Washington. TCU was one shot ahead of No. 2 Texas, No. 8 USC and No. 10 Georgia Tech.

The event served as a good first look for TCU at its competition for the Big 12 Championship held later this spring.

TCU placed all five individuals in its team lineup among the top-42 finishers in the 116-man field, including three in the top 20.

Senior Daniel Jennevret was the Frogs' top finisher in a tie for 15th place at 4 under. Sophomore Julien Brun tied for the low round of the day after firing a final round 5-under 67 to finish tied for 17th at 3 under. Senior Pontus Gad finished tied for 20th place at 2 under. Freshman Paul Barjon shot even-par 72 to earn a tie for 26th at 1 under.
