Benbrook man, 79, dies in motorcycle wreck in Hudson Oaks

A 79-year-old Benbrook man died early Friday in a motorcycle wreck in Hudson Oaks.

The wreck happened at about 10:30 a.m. on an Interstate 20 service road entrance ramp, near Mile Marker 414, the Tarrant County medical examiner reported.

Robert Sroczynski was riding a Harley Davidson Road King east on the service road and was preparing to get onto the interstate, according to a news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety highway patrol.

"For an as yet undetermined reason, Mr. Sroczynski failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and struck the guardrail," the DPS stated.

Sroczynski wore a helmet, the DPS reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the medical examiner.
