Pro Fight Series in Hurst packs a punch

The Bud Light Pro Fight Series begins Saturday at the Hurst Conference Center with a seven-bout card.

Among the fighters will be Irving's Hector Vazquez (8-1, 2 KOs), an alternate on Mexico's 2008 Olympic team, who will be taking on Norman Allen (6-6, 3 KOs) in the Junior Middleweight main event. Other bouts include five boxers from Fort Worth.

Other fights are set for May 17, June 29, Aug. 24, Oct. 26, and Dec. 7.

Weigh-ins begin at 2 p.m. today at Bronco's Sports Bar and Grill in Hurst.
