DFW AIRPORT _ Travelers experienced a few flight delays Thursday morning at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport because of a computer problem, authorities said.

Problems with flight plan information began early Thursday but it was repaired by about 7:45 a.m. Thursday, said FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford.

Some travelers experienced 40 minute delays before their planes were allowed to take off, officials said.

American Airlines spokesman Matt Miller said the computer problems did not cause any flight cancellations.

The threat of a blizzard in the Northeast forced additional cancellations Thursday and Friday.

Check on your flight at DFW Airport.
