Drivers who get stuck on Randol Mill Avenue at Southlake Boulevard will get some relief with an extended right-turn lane.

Southlake public works crews are adding another 200 feet to the right-turn lane on southbound Randol Mill Avenue, also called FM 1938. The addition will allow more vehicles to cue up in the lane, keeping the through lane clear.

Eventually, Randol Mill Avenue will be widened to a four-lane street with a median.
