WEATHERFORD -- The North Crowley girls basketball team wrapped up the regular season Tuesday by storming back for a 46-40 win over Weatherford.

Due to Arlington Martin's win over Arlington Lamar, both North Crowley and Weatherford will make the Class 5A playoffs.

Weatherford (21-12, 8-6) will occupy the fourth seed out of District 3-5A and will face Southlake Carroll in the first round at 7 p.m. Monday at Nolan Catholic.

North Crowley (15-16, 10-4) and Martin (17-13, 10-4), which split a pair of games this season, will play a tiebreaker game at 6 p.m. Friday at Mansfield High to decide the second and third seeds out of 3-5A. The winner of the tiebreaker will face Keller in the first round, while the loser will play Richland.

After trailing 19-7 after one quarter, North Crowley held Weatherford to just four field goals and 21 total points the rest of the way.

Weatherford's Abbye Shearmire hit three of her team's five 3-pointers in the opening period and finished with a game-high 17 points.

Izegbe Enabulele led the way for the Panthers with 15 points and eight rebounds. Point guard Brianna Holmes added 11 and went 9 of 10 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to preserve the victory.
