Two pedestrians had been drinking when they stepped onto a Lewisville street and were hit by a vehicle on Monday, Lewisville police said.
Lai Thawng, 24, and Sang Hrin, 36, were seriously injured in the incident that occurred on Fox Avenue, authorities said.The two were taken by helicopter ambulance to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas where they remained Tuesday.The incident occurred about 6:45 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Fox Ave. in Lewisville.Witnesses told police that the pedestrians were attempting to cross the street where there wasn't a crosswalk and were hit by a vehicle.
