Meet Casper, the very friendly dog.

Casper is about 2 years old and weighs nearly 50 pounds. He is very social and has a lot of puppy energy still. Casper has already been neutered and is ready to go home today. Casper has been at the PC Animal Shelter for a month and is hoping to find his new permanent home soon.

If you might be interested in Casper or any of his other friends, they can be visited at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter Tuesday –Saturday 11 a.m. -4 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesday and Friday until 6 p.m. Or, visit the Animal Shelter’s website and see all of Casper friends at www.weatherfordtx.gov/animal.

For the month of February, WPCAS is running a special that makes all dogs and cats only $40 through the end of the month. This covers their sterilization, vaccinations, microchip and all the free love that they will bring to your family.

For those who can’t adopt but would still like to help, Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter always appreciates donations of cat litter, dog food, cat food, trash bags and cleaning supplies, as well as monetary donations.
