The light showers that left the Dallas-Fort Worth area wet and damp have moved eastward, bringing an end to the rain chances for most of the area.
National Weather Service meteorologist Ted Ryan said there's a slight chance of more showers Monday evening but most of the area will remain dry tonight."It was very light," Ryan said. "Most locations saw very little rain."Temperatures should climb into the lows 70s this afternoon and will remain warm for the rest of the week. There will also be two more chances for rain.On Wednesday night, forecasters have a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms.Another chance will come this weekend when there could be heavier rains and even a chance of severe weather."It's tough to say how significant that will be - it's still several days away," Ryan said. "But we'll definitely be above normal for early February. It will stay warm and damp."Bill Hanna, (817) 390-7698Twitter: @fwhannaHave more to add? News tip? Tell us
