State Rep. Bill Zedler seems to think that requiring a license to work in an adult business would encourage the women who work there to seek a new lifestyle because the one they have is "wrecking their lives." (See: "Zedler seeks license for adult business workers," Jan. 16)

What would Zedler have them do, step up to call girl or maybe barmaid?

We don't need another politician assuming the role of a moral policeman and proposing silly legislation that would accomplish nothing.

I suggest Zedler would best serve his constituents by focusing on issues that are truly important.
