NORMAN, Okla. -- TCU led 11-0 but trailed by three at halftime. Things got steadily worse.

Sharane Campbell scored 23 points and made five 3-point baskets to help Oklahoma recover and roll over TCU 74-53 on Wednesday night.

No. 21 Oklahoma led 30-27 at halftime and blew the game open with a 20-1 run over a 5:15 stretch early in the second half. Campbell hit four 3-pointers during the surge, with the last making the score 54-31 with 12:48 remaining.

The Sooners (16-4, 6-2 Big 12) won even though Aaryn Ellenberg, the team's leading scorer, left with a left leg injury early in the second half. Ellenberg scored seven points before leaving the game.

TCU freshman Zahna Medley had 18 points and Veja Hamilton 10 points and nine rebounds for the Horned Frogs (7-12), who at 0-8 remain winless in their inaugural Big 12 season.

Oklahoma shot 62.5 percent from the field in the second half. For the game, the Sooners were 25 of 56 (44.6 percent) from the floor, including 13 of 28 (46.4 percent) from 3-point range.

TCU's guard-dominated lineup shot only 28 percent (20 of 72) from the floor.

Frogs center Latricia Lovings had four blocked shots, moving her into second in blocks all time at TCU.

TCU had taken OU to the wire in Fort Worth, losing 85-79 on Jan. 9.

"I did not think that we were playing in a lackluster way, which I thought we did in Fort Worth," Sooners coach Sherri Coale said of OU's rough start Wednesday. "That was not the case tonight. We just did not make shots."

Nicole Griffin added 11 points for OU and Morgan Hook totaled nine points, eight assists and six rebounds.

Medley scored five straight points to push TCU to its 11-0 lead. Medley's run in which she scored 13 straight points for TCU put the Frogs ahead 22-16 with 6:51 left in the first half.

Oklahoma then went on a 14-0 run for a 30-22 lead.

TCU returns home to face Texas at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
