Mavericks at Warriors

9:30 tonight, Oracle Arena, Oakland, Calif.

TV: FSSW, TNT

Radio: ESPN/103.3 FM, KFLC/1270 AM (Spanish)

Records : Mavs 19-26; Warriors 28-17

About the Mavs : The Mavericks will try to regroup after a devastating 106-104 loss at Portland on Tuesday. The Mavericks led by seven points with 2:19 left, but lost when LaMarcus Aldridge buried an 18-footer at the buzzer.... One bright spot was Dirk Nowitzki scoring a season-high 26 points on 11-of-21 shooting. Nowitzki has shot at least 50 percent in consecutive games for the first time this season.... The Mavericks committed eight of their 16 turnovers against Portland in the fourth quarter.... Brandan Wright matched his season high in rebounds with eight. ... Dallas is next-to-last in the NBA in points allowed at 103 ppg.

About the Warriors : One of the most surprising stories in the NBA this season is Golden State, which is in fifth place in the Western Conference.... The Warriors are 14-6 at home and have won five of their past seven games, including Tuesday's 108-95 victory in Cleveland when rookie Klay Thompson scored a career-high 32 points and Jarrett Jack added 26 points and 12 assists.... Coach Mark Jackson recently tweeted that his fellow West coaches blew it when they declined to select Stephen Curry as an All-Star reserve. Curry averages 21 points and 6.4 assists. -- Dwain Price
