Three men were wounded in a shooting Tuesday evening in Arlington, police said.

A clerk called police to a convenience store in the 1100 block of North Watson Road, police spokeswoman Tiara Richard wrote in a statement late Tuesday.

"Based on information and evidence gathered early in the investigation, the shooting occurred outside a nearby motel and one of the shooting victims managed to drive to the convenience store," Richard wrote.

One man had non-life threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to a Dallas hospital. The other two men were "more critically injured " and were taken by ambulance John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Richard wrote.

"Detectives are comparing evidence taken from the two crime scenes and comparing witness accounts to determine what led to this shooting. That information will help determine if this incident is drug-related or connected to another incident," Richard wrote.
