The TCU women's basketball team travels to No. 21 Oklahoma today looking to notch its first Big 12 victory.
The Horned Frogs played one of their best games of the season Jan. 9 against then-No. 16 Oklahoma despite falling 85-79.TCU held an eight-point lead with 12 minutes left in the game, but three late turnovers sealed the Sooners' victory.TCU sophomore guard Natalie Ventress had a career-high 27 points. Oklahoma's Aaryn Ellenberg was 6 of 15 from 3-point range as part of a team-high 26 points.The Sooners enter tonight's game No. 2 in the nation in 3-point field-goal percentage, hitting 40 percent.Ellenberg averages 19.7 points per game while shooting 46 percent from 3-point range.TCU has never won in Norman. Oklahoma leads the series 13-3.Today's game begins at 7 p.m. at the Lloyd Noble Center.
