Pink will be the color of choice Tuesday at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

To show its support for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Fort Worth affiliate, the Stock Show will donate 50 percent of Tuesday's ticket sales to the Stock Show and Rodeo to the non-profit.

Visitors and participants are also encouraged to wear pink to show their support in the fight against breast cancer.

Komen officials will staff an information booth in the Amon G. Carter Exhibits Hall from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

And more than 600 breast cancer survivors and their families and friends are expected to attend a "Pink Ribbon Rodeo Reception" in the Cactus Room in the exhibits hall.

Last year, the Stock Show raised $15,400 for local Komen affiliate. - Staff report
