Feb. 2. The Grapevine Daddy Daughter Dance, featuring dancing, refreshments, limo rides, crafts and more, is 4-9 p.m. at the Community Activities Center, 1175 Municipal Way. Feb. 1. Nash Farm, 626 Ball St., begins a series of educational experiences called " First Fridays at the Farm," family-friendly events designed to teach life skills important on Texas farms in the 19th century, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theme for the February event is "Foodways." Feb. 1. Worthington National Bank, 4814 Colleyville Blvd., presents a reception honoring the artwork of Sophy Brown from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Brown will attend the reception which will feature a collection of acrylic paintings depicting rodeo- and ranch-themed scenes. Jan. 31-Feb. 3. The Southwestern College choral department tours North Texas, performing Feb. 3 at First Methodist Church in Grapevine at 9 a.m., 10:10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. The tour concludes with a concert at the Richardson Performing Arts Center at 3 p.m. Feb. 10.

Ongoing: Northeast Tarrant Tennis Association (NETT) is accepting player registrations for the Spring USTA Junior Team Tennis season through March 1. The league is for children age 5-18 and runs March 3-April 28. Co-ed singles, doubles and mixed matches are on Sunday afternoons at tennis courts around Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville and surrounding communities. No prior tennis experience needed. Ongoing. Southlake Parks and Recreation is accepting registrations for the Spring Men's Adult Softball League through Feb. 8. The league is open to men 35 and older, and only team registrations are accepted. Games will be held at the Bob Jones Softball Complex on Monday nights. Cost is $300 per team, and each team must have between nine and 20 layers. Season dates are Feb. 18-April 29.
