Saturday attendance sets record for day at Stock Show

It's Getting Mighty Crowded Around Here

If you attended the Stock Show on Saturday and thought it was a little crowded, you were right.

The attendance for Saturday, 138,300, was the highest recorded for the second Saturday of the event in its 117-year history. And that figure is the third-highest for any day, with only the third Saturdays of 2011 and 2012 surpassing it.

The total attendance for the 2013 Stock Show stood at 370,400 through Saturday, which is 3,700 visitors more than the total for the same point in 2012 -- the year the event set a new total attendance record of 1,166,000.
