DENTON -- Arkansas-Little Rock used a 5-0 run in the final two minutes to beat the North Texas women's basketball team 52-48 Saturday.

Freshman Alexis Hyder led the way for the Mean Green (7-3, 6-5 Sun Belt) with 11 points, including six of the team's first eight points. Saturday marked the 14th game this season that Hyder has scored in double figures.

But Hyder and the rest of the Mean Green couldn't find their offense late, missing their last five shots, including a game-tying chance with five seconds left. Fatigue may have been a factor as injuries left the Mean Green with only eight players.

North Texas jumped out to an early 26-17 lead in the first half but saw UALR (13-7, 6-6) go on a 12-2 run that gave the Trojans a 29-28 lead early in the second half. UNT responded with an 11-2 run to lead 39-31 but fell down the stretch.
