DENTON -- North Texas held Arkansas-Little Rock below its season-scoring average, but was unable to sustain enough offense to keep pace, losing 62-57 Saturday night at the Super Pit.

Will Neighbour, James White and Josh Hagins led Arkansas-Little Rock (14-9, 8-4 Sun Belt) with 11 points each.

Four players accounted for the North Texas points. Jordan Williams led the Mean Green (8-14, 3-8) with 22, Roger Franklin added 20 points and 12 rebounds, Tony Mitchell scored 13, and Niko Stojiljkovic added a pair of free throws.

The Mean Green opened the second half on a 15-3 run to take the lead before Little Rock responded with a 7-0 spree to go up for good.

"They [UALR] did a good job executing and they play really good defense," North Texas coach Tony Benford said. "Four guys scoring, that's not enough. We didn't move the ball as well as usual, and offensively we were kind of stagnant at times."

North Texas is on the road against Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday, and Arkansas State on Feb. 2.
