Rich Bisaccia is the Dallas Cowboys new special teams coach, a source confirmed Friday. Bisaccia's coaching career at Auburn lasted 22 days.

"Rich had an offer that he felt he could not turn down and we wish him nothing but the best," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said in a statement.

Bisaccia, 52, replaces Joe DeCamillis, who took the same job with the Chicago Bears. Dallas also interviewed Bruce DeHaven and Alan Lowry for the position.

Bisaccia, who spent the past two seasons with the Chargers, continues an influx of former Tampa Bay coaches. He ran special teams for the Buccaneers from 2002-10. New Cowboys defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin and defensive line coach Rod Marinelli were together in Tampa for 10 seasons.

The Cowboys still have openings for a tight ends coach and a running backs coach. Their receivers coach, Jimmy Robinson, hasn't decided his future. Assistant offensive line coach Wes Phillips could be considered for the tight ends position.

RGIII tops jersey sales

Robert Griffin III and social games helped the licensing arm of the NFL Players Association generate a record $46.4 million in revenue. The Redskins' rookie quarterback topped the list of online and in-store jersey sales, followed by four other quarterbacks: Broncos' Peyton Manning, Packers' Aaron Rodgers, Jets' Tim Tebow and the Patriots' Tom Brady.

Briefly

49ers: San Francisco's district attorney won't file criminal charges against 49ers WR Michael Crabtree after reviewing evidence of an alleged sexual assault in a hotel after the team's playoff victory over the Packers.

Ravens: GM Ozzie Newsome denied that he and owner Steve Bisciotti had pressured coach John Harbaugh to fire offensive coordinator Cam Cameron last month.

Jets: GM John Idzik reached out to Darrelle Revis, a few hours after the star cornerback wrote on Twitter that he was "speechless" about rampant trade rumors. Idzik said Revis "reacted well" to the phone call.

Seahawks: Former Cleveland and Miami executive Matt Thomas was named vice president of football administration.

Pro Bowl: Vikings rookie left tackle Matt Kalil will replace the Redskins' Trent Williams in Sunday's game. Williams required stitches after an altercation early Friday morning at a Honolulu night club.
