In his rant Tuesday night, National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre emphatically stated, "Absolutes do exist, words do have specific meaning in language and in law."

Since he's concerned about the specific meaning of words, I suggest he read all the words in the Second Amendment, concentrating on "well regulated" and "militia." These clearly specify conditions applying to gun ownership.
