High sheriffs' views

I have trod upon this earth for 82-plus years and have encountered many idiots in my time. I must say that the sheriff of Collin County is probably the stupidest of all.

He proposes to interpret the Constitution. He will say what law he will enforce. Does he not know that we have a high court to interpret the Constitution?

Laws are made and passed in this country by a legislative process, and he isn't a part of that. He has taken an oath to uphold the law, not interpret it -- only enforce it. No one in the current administration has said anyone is coming after our guns.

If laws are passed that limit high capacity magazines and/or control of who may purchase a high muzzle velocity rifle, then I'm all for it.
