Receive a scholarship by entering 4-Way Speech Contest

The Rotary Club of Weatherford has announced that it's annual 4-Way Test Speech Contest will be held Tues., March 5.

The contest is open to Parker County students in ninth through 12th grades (public, private or home school). Each student will give a five-minute speech on the theme, "What the 4-Way Test Means to Me." Contest rules and guidelines must be followed.

The winning student will receive a cash award and advance to the regional contest to be held in Weatherford on Sat., April 6.

The Rotary 4-Way Test is as follows:

Of the Things we Think say or do:

First: Is it the TRUTH?

Second: Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Third: Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Fourth: Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

The deadline to register is Feb. 15 and will be limited to a first-come, first-serve basis.
