Notable : Chicago is off to a 3-0-0 start for the first time since the 1972-73 season and has done it by beating the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings, the defending Pacific Division champion Phoenix Coyotes and the defending Central champion Blues.... Rookie Vladimir Tarasenko has three goals.... Forward Daniel Carcillo sustained a lower-body injury against Los Angeles and is expected to miss about a month. Rookie Brendan Saad replaces Carcillo on the top line.... Goalie Corey Crawford has two wins. He won 30 games last season.... For Dallas, Michael Ryder had his first two goals of the season in Tuesday's win at Detroit. He led the team last season in goals with 35.... Defenseman Aaron Rome, who has been slowed by a groin injury, might return tonight.... The Stars are 2 of 10 on the power play this season.
