There is a place for teachers and a place for guns. But having teachers and guns intermingled?
Precautions and preventive measures have been placed in schools already in Texas, such as lockdown procedures and security guards. Putting guns in the hands of teachers, or in the wrong hands of a student, is making each student susceptible to injury or even death.Other precautionary crime deflectors, such as pepper spray or Tasers, are less likely to be fatal and more likely to stop an attacker without a fatality.
