I am very disappointed with Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst's decision to silence state Sen. Wendy Davis, an education advocate and a voice of reason, by removing her from the Senate Education Committee. Removing her confirms that politics is a dirty game.

The Republicans continue to hold absolute power and will attempt to silence any dissent.

A professor once told me about "change" and the conservative South: "What's good enough for Grandpa is good enough for me. We always done it this way and we will always do it this way."
